What is your proudest Sitecore moment?
Participating in the Women of Sitecore MVP panel at the last Symposium and helping to build that segment of the community has been unbelievably fun and rewarding.
What is your favorite thing about being a Hedgehog?
The people I work with, though our Mascot is a close second.
How did you start working with Sitecore?
I started working with Sitecore when I was hired by Hedgehog. I was helping with content creation, and that naturally leads to helping with content entry and page building. One of the great things about working here is the willingness of our team members to answer questions and teach, and I was absolutely the beneficiary of that.
What’s on your Sitecore feature wish list?
I’m a big proponent of features of content creation and editing, so I’m excited to see the StyleLabs integrations. I’m keeping a close eye on Horizon. There’s a shift in the market afoot, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
What was your favorite Sitecore event and why?
SUGCON 2017 in Amsterdam; it was my first Sitecore community event. As a welcome into the great group of people who make the Sitecore world turn, it’s hard to beat.
If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you title it?
Fiction Addiction: Books, Adventures, and the Search for the Perfect Cupcake.
Tell me something people would be surprised to know about yourself.
I read 300+ books in 2018, and I’m on track to do the same in 2019.
What’s your crutch word/phase?
“WELP” – it’s remarkably versatile.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I should probably say “sushi” or something classy, but it’s chicken broccoli casserole. It’s been my favorite since I was about 10.
What show are you currently binge-watching?
The Great British Bake Off. Sheer Perfection.
