A Launch Story with a Sweet Ending

When McNeil Nutritionals, creator of SPLENDA®, came to us to help get the word out about their new, 100% natural NECTRESSE™ Sweetener brand, we welcomed the challenge. Harnessing the power of social media, we helped to launch the free-sample program that got people talking about (and sprinkling) this fruit-based product.

All-Natural Goes Mobile

Our mobile website design helped bring NECTRESSE to market by letting users request free samples from their smartphones to their mailbox. The new mobile site also provides customers with recipes, videos, and information about where to buy the new product.

Sealing the Deal

After receiving a free sample fans receive a follow-up e-mail which includes NECTRESSE recipes and a coupon linking back to Facebook, letting fans share the brand on their newsfeed with family and friends.

Talking Sweet with Social Media

From the ground up, Loewy built a Facebook presence for NECTRESSE complete with page design, photos, tabs, timeline, and Wall post maintenance. In writing and designing content, we let the client choose from options crafted to maximize brand impact.

Seeing “Pin” Potential

Taking advantage of every opportunity to connect with fans is a surefire way to build buzz—and that’s why we proposed a Pinterest page for NECTRESSE. Although the brand couldn’t execute the plan because of legalities, our design mockup and infographic shows the potential payoff of such a campaign.
